Featuring a 3mm diameter bristle brush housed within a protective 2.0mm outer diameter Teflon sheath, this instrument passes smoothly through endoscope channels to reach target upper GI mucosal sites. The protective sheath shields the brush during insertion and withdrawal, preserving cell sample integrity and preventing cross-contamination with surrounding tissue or working channel fluids. Equipped with a 160cm catheter working length and an ergonomic three-ring handle, the 000196 cytology brush enables precise, one-handed extension and retraction control during diagnostic sampling.
