The Detecto Mechanical Portable Height Rod is a height measurement instrument specifically designed for mobile clinics, visiting nurses, and any medical practitioners who need to measure heights in different locations. It can measure pediatric and adult patients and can be used free-standing or placed against a wall with no wall-mounting required.
Stable and Portable: This height rod has a large floor plate for stability on any flat surface as well as two spacers for added stability when placed against a wall. These ensure accurate measurements in any location. It can also be disassembled into four pieces that perfectly fit in the optional carrying case.
Accurate: The Detecto Portable Height Rod measures from 4.5” to 81” and 11.5 cm to 205 cm, with easily readable measurements visible on both sides of the rod. The smooth-gliding headpiece comes with bright red pointers for easy measurement reading.
Upgradable: Should you want a complete height and weight measurement station, this height rod is designed to work with the Detecto DR400C Digital Weighing Scale (not included). Simply place the scale on the platform and flip the headpiece to compensate for the scale’s height.
