More often than not, the only safeguard to prevent the entry of potentially dangerous metallic objects into the MRI environment is a warning sign placed on the door of the magnet room. The main problem with this is that the door is typically left open, so the sign is not visible upon entering the room. The MRI Stop Sign is a cafe-style door, that is always closed, so the sign is always readily viewable by people entering the room. The sign swings in and out and returns to a closed position every time it is used. Constructed of an opaque red polymer with non-magnetic hinges, the sign is 42" in diameter and fits a standard 48" door opening. The MRI Stop Sign can be customized to fit most door sizes.
