The Handicare EasyGlide Oval is a sliding board that is used for supine transfers and application of patient slings; it reduces strain and potential injury to patient and caregiver by easily allowing a caregiver to apply or remove a sling from behind a patient without logrolling, pushing or pulling on them, whether the patient is lying on the bed, floor or sitting in a wheelchair. The EasyGlide also reduces sheering in both the application and removal of the sling.
EasyGlide, oval is also available in a smaller variant, EasyGlide, Oval Mini, which is used for positioning further back in a chair and for application of lifting slings.
