Sklar's® double faced ortho mallet is distinguished from others in this product class by the head shape -- one side 28m face and the other 42mm. Mallets are used in conjuction with chisels to chip away bone in orthopedic procedues. This product is solid steel, with a textured handle for grip. This is one of the heavier malles, above one pound, like the Heath, Bergmann, and the phenolic handle mallets.
