The Terumo SurFlash IV Polyurethane Catheters are premium peripheral vascular access instruments featuring advanced visual confirmation technology to maximize first-stick success. Designed with ultra-flexible polyurethane (PUR) construction, these catheters soften at body temperature to conform to vessel walls, reducing mechanical phlebitis and catheter kink risks. Equipped with Terumo's proprietary visual confirmation feature, blood flashback is observed between the needle and catheter before the needle is fully withdrawn, instantly confirming proper placement inside the vein. Featuring a razor-sharp double-bevel introducer needle with a lubricated tip, these sterile, single-use catheters streamline IV access in high-acuity environments such as emergency rooms, trauma units, intensive care, and surgical suites.
