The Anatomy Lab A-104468 Lumbar Puncture Simulator is a simulation model designed for training in lumbar puncture techniques and related procedures such as spinal anesthesia, epidural puncture, caudal blocks and sympathetic nerve blocks. Learners can practise patient positioning (lateral and sitting), landmark palpation, needle insertion with realistic tissue resistance, and confirmation of correct placement via simulated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) outflow.
