Each replacement battery undergoes thorough testing at Cardiac Science before being sold. Once installed in your G3, the unit performs a daily self-test to ensure the battery is in working order.
Internal Intellisense battery circuitry works with Cardiac Science’s patented Rescue Ready technology to relay information about the battery’s performance, capacity, and other data points to your Powerheart AED.

How to Replace Your Cardiac Science G3 Plus Intellisense Battery
- Lay your AED flat to expose the battery located at the bottom of the device
- Press the tab located above the battery and lift
- Once battery is removed, insert new battery
- Press down firmly until you hear a click
- Ensure the Rescue Ready indicator is green
